Welcome to AAUW Minnesota

We celebrated our 125th Anniversary in 2006-2007, marking a milestone in our history of mission-based projects in assisting girls and women in attaining a college education, providing scholarships for advance degrees, funding educational research and promoting equity legislation. We are a national organization with ties to all fifty states.

For AAUW, education represents a gateway to opportunities, both educational and economic. Education stretches the mind, develops leadership, fosters creativity and enhances self-worth. It also encourages us to dream a better world, then to work to make a difference. We invite you to contact one of our 30 branches and to inquire how AAUW can be a part of your life. We are 100,000 members strong, a recognized national leader in education, a respected organization in the field of equity and education legislation, and a network of educated and professional women and men.
