Our “recipe” for promoting AAUW mission and vision:

Ingredients – Programs, projects, and participation advertised by members, Internet,

Mankato Free Press, and posters.

* “Russia” - Conference for Women in Siberia delegates shared diversity research on

women/families.

* “MSU, M's Violence Officer” – Informed members and helped with our sessions on

sexual harassment at state and national conventions for 2007.

* “Herstory – Mankato” - Branch made and shared 'Her'story cards. Our part of the

Blend in – 1 – Literacy Project and Fair:

Community requested event – Teacher students entertained with stories. Stressing

AAUW advocates lifelong learning. This college/university partnership has cemented

the College of Education with our Branch.

Participation in the MSU, Mankato Resource Fair.

Continued support and outstanding work. Audrey Simmons-Brown our #6 over 40 years

member. Wow! Mary Mastin donated Sam's Club check for her “outstanding” volunteer

Literacy work. Thanks, Mary! Thanks, everyone!!!
