AAUW Anniversary.”
The golf tournament earned several hundred dollars for
EF. Branch members and St.
Cloud State U. students planned, marketed, conducted,
and evaluated the tournament. More than
30 businesses contributed. Students learned about AAUW
and earned college credits and
valuable experience as members of a project team.
With League of Women Voters, Women of St. Cloud, and St.
Cloud Times, we held a
Voters Choice Candidate Fair, a day-long forum at Apollo
HS, resulting in excellent visibility.
The St. Cloud Times conducted an Essay and Poster
Contests for middle school students
on “What Voting Means to Your Future.” Our branch
members judged the entries, and we were
acknowledged as contest judges when the winning essays
were published.
